On July 26, 2026, passed away peacefully, at Dunedin Hospital, aged 77 years.  Dearly loved wife of Murray*, much loved mother of Kelley, and Richard, much loved by their partners Hamish, and Kyoko, and treasured Grandma to Gus, and Stella (Hellaby). Cherished sister and sister-in-law to Margaret and Ian, Gary and Barbara*, and much loved by her nephews.  Averill was deeply loved by her many friends and will be forever remembered and missed.  (*denotes deceased)
