It is with heavy hearts that we wish to announce the passing of Richard on his 70th birthday, July 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family; He was a life force, and known by many as “Bluey”, “Big Fella” and more recently “9 lives Richie”. 

Adored and deeply loved husband of Deborah. Proud and devoted father to Brooke, Kendyl, Simon, and Zachary, respected father-in-law of Scotty Cain, Alex Glover, and Elisabeth Blue. His legacy will live on through his grandsons, Hooper, and Harrex Cain, Hudson Glover, Beaumont, and Richmond Blue.

His positivity and determined attitude was admired by all who knew him. He was a gifted and naturally talented Clinical Dental Technician who thrived on giving his patients back their smile.

In accordance with Richard’s wishes, a private family service has  been held.
