On July 27, 2026, unexpectedly, after a wonderful weekend watching his favourite football team, with his two sons, in Auckland.  Much loved husband and best friend of Derelle for over 60 years, loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Sian, and Grant, loved Granddad of Rosie, Maisie; Frankie, Lars, and Zita, loved brother of Robyn and Peter May, and the late Jenny.
